One year later...
"No."
"Come on…"
"Absolutely not."
"Won't you at least consider it?"
"Damn it Arthur, no means no!"
"Well why the bloody hell not?!"
This was the basic formula for the conversations __________ and Arthur had been having recently. What exactly were they arguing about?
"A baby's a lot of responsibility. It's not like a pet, we have to pay for diapers, food, 18 years of school later on… I just think we should make sure we're taken care of first before we take such a big step forward."
Yep, they were arguing about having a baby. The experience was something Arthur was really looking forward to, but ________ was a little less than eager.
Arthur sighed. "How long do you think that's going to take?"
"I don't know. A few years maybe?"
"What?!"
__________ shrugged. "Sorry."
He frowned. "Alright, cut the crap _________. What's the real reason you don't want to have a baby?"
She turned her head, confused. "What are you talking about? Those all were the real reasons I don't want to have a baby."
"No they're not, or at least they're not all of them. I know you, _______. I can tell when you're holding things back." He stated matter of factly. "Do you think I'll be a bad father?"
"What? No, I think you'll be a wonderful father!"
"Do you think it'll interfere with our time together?"
"No."
His face fell and he began blushing furiously. "D-do you… not enjoy the process of… ahem, making a baby with me?"
Her face also turned red. "N-no, I enjoy that a lot."
"Then what is it?" He insisted, taking her hand. "You can tell me anything, _______. You know that."
Damn him and that puppy dog look, she mentally cursed. It was cuter than Alfred's, and that's saying something. She sighed, giving in. "I-I'm worried…"
"Yes?" He said, eager to hear the rest.
"I'm worried that…"
"Yes? Yes?" He repeated, a little annoyed.
"I'm worried that I… that I…"
"For God's sake, woman! Out with it!"
"IMWORRIEDILLBEABADMOM!"
He cocked his head to the side. "I'm sorry?"
She sighed, and stated again in a soft voice. "I'm worried… that I'll be a bad mom."
"What? Love, why on earth would you think that?"
"Well, you remember when you came home and I was babysitting my nephew?"
"Of course. We had a great time, that's when I decided I wanted a child of my own. What about it?"
"Well, we may have had a great time when you got there… but before then, it was miserable. I was so lost, Arthur. I didn't know how to entertain a child, how to make him warm up to me and have good time with just me. You had to come to my rescue. You, a man. Do you have any idea how big of a blow that is to my womanly pride? As a female, I'm just supposed to instinctively know how to take care of children, in the event I decide to have my own. But… I don't have that ability. And if I don't have it with someone else's child, what the hell makes you think I'll have it with my own?"
__________ could feel Arthur stare at her for a long time, but he said nothing.
"W-well? Aren't you going to say anything?!" She demanded.
And finally, Arthur broke out into a fit of laughter, causing ______ to throw one of the pillows on the couch at him.
"Hey! What the hell's so funny?!"
"I'm… ha-ha… I'm sorry love. I … AHAHA! I find it so hard to believe you're the same woman who on our honeymoon refused to adhere to the stereotypical haha housewife routine! AHAHHAHAHAHA~"
___________ pouted. "Hmph. Your long term memory is such a pain in my ass." She grumbled, looking away.
Arthur suddenly stopped laughing and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Love, no one, man or woman, is born with those instincts. They take time. Yours will come along soon enough."
"R-really?"
"Yes really. And for what it's worth…" He whispered the last part lovingly in her ear. "I think you'll make a wonderful mother too."
"Why do you say that?"
"Well, whether you realize it or not, kids do love you." He said. _________ did realize this, and considering her awkwardness around children she kind of hated it. It's like they knew they made her uncomfortable…
"And seeing you with Xavier in your lap… you bouncing him happily and singing to him, it was really cute and sweet. I want to see that sight a lot more, but with our own child." He finished, looking at her adoringly.
__________'s heart melted. She turned around and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too." He said, pulling her in for a gentle kiss
The two then spent time talking about babies, what they'd want the gender to be (though they both agreed they love their child regardless) What to name the child, who would have what responsibilities, and all that jazz. Arthur realized that this sounded a lot like they were finally planning to have a baby, so after a while, he took a deep breath and asked.
"Does this mean you've changed your mind?"
She thought about this for a little while before smiling. "Yeah. Though I still think we should wait a little longer. At least till I'm 20, so the baby can possibly be born when I'm 21."
He groaned.
"Hey, don't be like that! My birthday's in a few months, remember?"
"…"
"Arthur… you do remember when my birthday is, right?"
"Uh… um… Oh! I think my tea is done!" He yelled, sprinting into the kitchen.
________ sighed. He was definitely sleeping on the couch tonight.
"No."

Gone: EnglandxReader
“Why?!” England sank to his knees, once again reliving the moment when America left him. Everyone left him. Every last one.
The rain dripped down his face, but he couldn’t feel it in the dream. He just stared up at the heavens and watch the dream rain mingle with dream tears on his skin.
Honey.
Your voice rang out, strong and beautiful.
Love, wake up.
He clenched his eyes shut, knowing all that awaited him was more pain. But England cracked open up one eye anyway, finding your shining (e/c) eyes staring down at him. “Honey, are you alright? You were almost yelling in your sleep.”
England moved and hugged yo

"Aww, aren't you just the cutest thing?"
Arthur Kirkland watched you snuggle with the cat, green eyes narrowed. He could see why'd you dubbed it as FranceCat; after all, that cat was a fluff ball, just like Francis's "sexy" hair and, also very much like France, this cat seemed more than happy to cuddle near some.....Intimate areas.
To anyone else, it would have been rather amusing to see the Brit's face turn bright red as glowered at the smug, fluffy cat. Arthur, however, was less than amused. "You really are cute!" You cooed, scratching the cat's ears and ignoring your boyfriend's silent hissy fit. "Why don't you sleep with me tonight?"

EnglandxReader: Another Try?
My head went blank and everything in my vision swam. It was if I was slowly losing feeling starting from my fingers and my breathing was rapidly increasing. No. No, I can’t stand to go through this again. I gently set the plastic on the white porcelain of the sink and rested my head in my hands. I swallowed and tried to breathe evenly. I just had to wait until Arthur got home and then I would talk it over with him.
I stood up, trying not to think about all the sad, negative thoughts running through my head. I swept the plastic into the trash can and walked out of the bathroom. I ignored the stinging in my eyes and walk
